Brenda previously worked as a Dental Nurse in Montrose before Qualifying as a hygienist in 2001 (Dip Dent Hygiene) at Dundee Dental Hospital. She started work at Queens Road Dental Practice in January 2002 and enjoys treating phobic and nervous patients. Brenda always aspires to create a calm friendly environment, so treatment can be carried out with minimum stress. One of her favourite parts of the job is promoting dental hygiene, helping to prevent oral disease and helping patients with hypersensitive teeth, assisting them with simple diet and oral hygiene advice to make their mouths more comfortable. Outwith work Brenda enjoys keeping fit with regular gym visits, attending music concerts and comedy gigs, cooking and spending time with her husband and 3 boys.
Anita first qualified as a general nurse in Slovakia and worked as a dental nurse and then as a dental hygienist after gaining her qualification in Dental Hygiene (Dip Dental Hygiene) in 1998. She joined Queens Road Dental Practice in June 2005. Her main goal is to motivate patients to achieve and maintain as high a dental hygiene standard as possible. She particularly enjoys working with kids and especially with nervous patients, slowly building up their confidence.
Outside of dentistry Anita enjoys gardening, keeping fit, swimming, skiing, travelling and spending time with her family.
