Robert Laing

Robert Laing began his career in 1988, initially joining Queens Road Dental Practice as a dental technician. Wanting to progress beyond the dental laboratory and interact with patients, Robert went on to study dentistry at Dundee University Dental School and graduated in 1999.

Following qualification, Robert moved back to Aberdeen and began working as an associate dentist at the practice in 2000. Robert’s in-depth knowledge of both the technical and clinical aspects of dentistry make him an invaluable member of our team.

Mr. Laing enjoys all aspects of dentistry but is particularly interested in oral surgery. He enjoys taking the time to get to know his patients and discuss all the possible treatment options available to them. Robert takes pride in providing high quality, long term dental care for all his patients. He strives to develop a long lasting rapport with all his patients and likes to put them at ease throughout the course of their treatment.

Affectionately known as ‘Our Bob’, Robert is an Aberdeen loon through and through! Outside of dentistry Robert’s hobbies include running, football and spending time with his wife and their young family. Frequent visitors to the Scottish Highlands, the Laing family can often be found holidaying in Aviemore during the summer months. We consider ‘Our Bob’ to be part of the fabric here at Queens Road Dental Practice!
